Chase Williams
Chief Executive Officer
Chase has served as Pathify’s CEO since June 2017.
He previously worked as Executive Director from company incorporation until May 2021 and has led Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Operations at various times throughout the company’s history.
Chase co-founded Pathify while at Monash University, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance).
He lives in Austin, Texas, and enjoys golf, movies and reading about the latest news in technology, politics and finance.
James McCubbin
Chief Financial Officer
James has served as Pathify’s CFO since March 2021.
He previously served as Executive Director from company incorporation until May 2021, including the position of Chief Product Officer from April 2017 until March 2021.
James co–founded Pathify after completing his Bachelor of Business (Banking & Finance) and Bachelor of Business (Economics) at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
James resides in Melbourne with his family and is a proud father of two kids. He enjoys technology, golfing, and is obsessed with the AFL.
Chris Hagan
Chief Technology Officer
Chris joined Pathify in November 2018 as Chief Technology Officer.
He has nearly 20 years of experience across educational technology, most recently at Monash University and the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation.
His expertise spans econometrics, data imaging, biology and machine learning, with formal qualifications in Health (Nursing), mental health and emergency room patient management.
Chris lives in Melbourne, Australia, and enjoys vintage technology, sculpture and live music.
Matt Hammond
Chief Revenue Officer
Matt has been Pathify’s Chief Revenue Officer since 2022, where he is responsible for sales, solutions, customer implementation, ongoing account management and marketing.
Before joining Pathify in 2020, Matt served as Principal at Middlepond & Associates and Vice President of Sales at FullContact.
Matt currently lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife and daughter. He enjoys (obsessively) following Boston sports, camping, reading and playing the drums (while his daughter is sleeping, of course).
Megan Kratzman
Vice President of Marketing
Megan Kratzman is the Vice President of Marketing at Pathify, where she manages demand generation initiatives, maintains Pathify’s brand identity and builds a loyal customer base.
With expertise in digital marketing, marketing operations, marketing-sales alignment, and program architecture, Megan joined Pathify in 2022 after holding various roles at DoorDash, Pana and FullContact.
She currently lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband and two cats and enjoys traveling, cooking and gardening.
Mark Kenna
Finance Manager
Mark joined Pathify in August 2021 as Finance Manager.
He has 15 years of finance experience across audit, business consulting, banking and media, working at KPMG, JP Morgan Chase and Dentsu International.
Mark resides in Melbourne, Australia with his family and loves traveling, horse racing and playing average golf.
Mike Brouwer
VP of Sales
As Vice President of Sales, Mike Brouwer leads Pathify’s go-to-market motion, helping scale the revenue side of the business through the company’s next phase of growth.
Mike brings over 20 years of sales leadership experience, most recently as Chief Revenue Officer for Onaroll and Chief Customer and Revenue Officer for Maxwell. With a strategic vision for Pathify’s future, Mike looks forward to executing on Pathify’s goals.
He lives in Denver, Colorado, where he spends most of his time driving to every basketball court and soccer field in the state chasing his kids’ sports schedule.
Dan Lordan
Deputy CTO
Dan has served as Pathify’s Deputy CTO since March 2025, having joined the company as a Senior Engineer in March 2024.
He previously served as Co-Founder and CTO of Navengage, which was acquired by Pathify in 2024. Throughout his career, Dan has specialized in managing international technical teams with a focus on ed tech.
Dan is a proud alumnus of Penn State University and calls Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home. He enjoys golf, reading, supporting Philly sports teams and spending time with family and friends.
Julian Yballe
Head of Partnerships
Julian has served as Pathify’s Head of Partnerships since July 2025.
He brings over a decade of experience in edtech and focuses on scaling at both the partner and system level – building a function designed to accelerate momentum in current and new markets.
Julian lives in Vancouver, Canada, with his family. He is an avid cyclist and a proud alumnus of the University of British Columbia and the Ivey Business School.
McKenzie Perez
Head of Human Resources
McKenzie has served as Pathify’s Head of Human Resources since July 2025.
For the past 20 years, she has supported multinational corporations, startups and entrepreneurs across industries ranging from FinTech, Law, Property Management, Education, SaaS Technology, Bath and Beauty and Franchising. McKenzie has also taught at universities to help build business knowledge and passion among higher ed students.
Mckenzie earned her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University in 2015 and was named one of Colorado’s Top 50 Women Leaders from 2023-2025. She lives in Erie, Colorado, and enjoys spending time with her family watching the sunset.
David Overton
Vice President of IT and CITO
David joined Pathify as Vice President of IT and Chief Information Security Officer in October of 2025. His responsibilities include securing data for Pathify and the customer integrations.
David brings over 25 years of experience in information technology and information security, supporting various business verticals, including higher ed and K-12. His depth of expertise enables him to execute sound strategies on Pathify’s behalf.
David lives in the Tampa Bay area in Florida with his family, currently supporting his children in their many endeavours.
Kelly Pronek
Vice President of Revenue Operations
Kelly joined Pathify as Vice President of Revenue Operations in June of 2026 and is responsible for the systems, processes and insights powering Pathify’s revenue team and keeping leadership operating from a clear, confident view of the business.
She brings over 25 years of B2B revenue and marketing leadership to the role. Kelly started her career in sales and marketing, built the demand engine at Pricefx and earned the added responsibility to oversee revenue operations as VP of Commercial Excellence.
Outside of work, she’s the emotional support human for three rescue dogs, a certified yoga teacher and a woman with strong opinions about coffee. Weekends are for concerts, comedy and travel with her fiancé.

Christopher Harvey
Christopher Harvey is currently the Executive Director of Academic Technology at St. Petersburg College, where he has been since 2014.
His current role focuses on spearheading academic technology and online education initiatives and collaborating college-wide to support all stakeholders in establishing effective standards and solutions ensuring student success.
Christopher previously worked at Joliet Junior College. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
In his spare time, Christopher enjoys being with his family and two boys, Greyson and Cameron, as well as 3D printing, sci-fi and the theater.
Ellie Kates-da Silva
Ellie Kates-da Silva is currently the Manager of Marketing and Intranet Communications at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (UVA), where she has been since 2022.
Her current role focuses on overseeing marketing and portal content for the McIntire School.
Ellie previously worked at the UVA Bookstore. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from UVA.
In her spare time, Ellie enjoys watercolor painting and flower gardening.
Eric Alvarado
Eric Alvarado is currently the AVP of Digital Strategy at St. John’s University, where he has been since 2014. His current role focuses on leveraging technology as an enabler of growth and transformation.
Eric bridges the gap between St. John’s strategic vision and tactical execution, ensuring their technology initiatives directly contribute to the university’s success and continued excellence.
He has previously worked at The George Washington University and Purdue University. Eric also holds a number of degrees, including a Bachelor’s of Agricultural and Biological Engineering as well as a Master’s of Engineering from Cornell University, and a Master of Science in Data Mining and Predictive Analytics from St. John’s University.
In his spare time, Eric enjoys board game design and pickleball as well as spending time with his family and two children, Ari and Eli.
Joe Mancini
Joe Mancini is currently the Executive Director of Information Systems at Montgomery County Community College, where he has been since 1991.
His current role focuses on overseeing leadership of infrastructure, learning technologies, user support, enterprise software systems and data and analytics teams.
He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University.
In his spare time, Joe enjoys restoring a Ford Mustang.
Rene Eborn
Rene Eborn is currently the Deputy of Digital Transformation and Associate Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Utah State University (USU), where she has been since 2019.
Her current role focuses on partnering with executive leaders at USU to provide access and quality education to students by adapting to emerging trends to attain university stretch goals, enrollments and financial targets. She has previously worked at BYU – Idaho and SNHU.
Rene also holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from USU, a Master of Arts in Education from University of Wyoming, a certificate in negotiation and leadership from Harvard and a certificate in digital transformation from MIT.
In her spare time, Rene enjoys reading, hiking, skiing, spending time with her grandchildren and dog Winnie.
Robert Henderson
Robert Henderson is currently the Vice President of Information Systems and Chief Technology Officer at University of the Pacific, where he has been since 2000.
His current role focuses on partnering with business units at the institution to correctly identify the proper roles and responsibilities for applications enabling the business to succeed.
Robert previously worked at California State University – Stanislaus. He also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Information Systems and Master’s of Business Administration from California State University – Stanislaus.
In his spare time, Robert enjoys golfing, skiing and taking walks.
Brandon Smith
Brandon Smith is the Associate Vice President for Information Technology Strategy and Creative Innovation at Ball State University, where he provides leadership for the Digital Corps and University Media Services. He champions a culture of innovation and collaboration, aligning multimedia and emerging technologies with the university’s strategic goals. Brandon has worked for Ball State for over 20 years.
Brandon earned degrees from Ball State University and Temple University. His professional experience includes a magical start with the Walt Disney Company, followed by an award-winning role with Ball State’s Electronic Field Trips program producing educational television programing at premier museums and national parks across the country.
In his spare time, Brandon enjoys escaping to the great outdoors for a little camping and hiking, enjoying live music, and travel adventures with his family.
Eric Hazen
Eric Hazen is the Executive Director of Digital Experience and Marketing at Ferris State University, where he has been since 2016.
In his current role, Eric leads a powerhouse team of content creators and web developers in crafting digital experiences so engaging, even algorithms get excited. He specializes in organic acquisition and conversion rate optimization, ensuring Ferris State’s digital presence is strategic and impactful.
Eric holds a BA and MFA from Columbia College.
The world’s biggest Jurassic Park fan — so much that he was once in a band called Ian Malcolm — Eric also enjoys running absurd distances on wooded trails, reading and hanging with his blue heeler, Sabrina the Canine Witch.
Gohar Tovbis
Gohar Tovbis is the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enterprise Application Services at University of Denver, where she has been since 2001.
In her current role, she provides strategic leadership for enterprise application services with university-wide impact, overseeing cross-institutional initiatives and partnerships. Gohar is responsible for a broad enterprise software portfolio—including ERP, LMS, and over 70 cloud-based SaaS solutions—ensuring alignment with the university’s technology needs.
Gohar holds a BA in Economics from University of Colorado Denver and a Master of Computer Information Systems from University of Denver.
In her free time, Gohar enjoys traveling with her family and friends, trying new cuisines, and watching her two sons play ice hockey.
Greg Fallon
Greg Fallon is the Associate Vice President of University Communications and Digital Strategy at Ball State University, where he has been since 2020.
In his current role, Greg provides strategic leadership to the Digital Marketing and University Communications teams. He works to tell Ball State’s story consistent with the University’s strategic vision and overall goals. He spearheads the University’s collective digital experience, including deploying digital marketing tools, leading social media and developing content for various channels.
Greg previously worked at Gannett | USA Today Network as an executive editor. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
In his personal life, Greg has two daughters, and he is married to his high school sweetheart, Julie, who, like him, is a Ball State graduate. He’s an avid reader, runner, and an FAA-certified drone pilot.
Loren Malm
Loren Malm serves as the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Ball State University, where he provides strategic leadership for campus-wide technology initiatives. With more than 30 years of service at Ball State, Mr. Malm has advanced efforts to leverage technology to enhance the student experience, support academic innovation, and drive institutional success.
He is a recognized thought leader in higher education technology, frequently presenting on digital transformation, student success, and innovation. Mr. Malm actively contributes to national organizations, including EDUCAUSE, Internet2, and E&I Cooperative Services, where he serves on the Board of Directors.
Holding a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a CISSP certification since 2001, Mr. Malm brings deep expertise in information security, systems engineering, and strategic IT leadership to his work in shaping the future of technology in higher education.
