Our GenAI Chatbot can answer many common questions along your academic journey, but sometimes, nothing beats a professional: That’s where the Advisors via User Provisioning Provider comes in. It retrieves Users’ advisors from their Pathify User properties and, when requested during Chatbot conversations, returns information about the same. Advisor information can originate from any of Engagement Hub’s User provisioning methods — flat file parsing via the User Provisioning Setup Recipe, HTTP request via the User Provisioning Event Listener Recipe, manual addition via Admin Center, etc.

Providers do not have associated widgets. They simply retrieve user-specific information from external data sources (often Connectors) for use in Chatbot conversations.
