Knox Theological Seminary Wins Coronavirus Emergency Grant to Partner With Campus

DENVER, April 9, 2020 – Campus, a contemporary, mobile and web-based portal platform, today announced it has partnered with Knox Theological Seminary (https://www.knoxseminary.edu) an independent, evangelical seminary in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Due to the emergent need stemming from COVID-19, specifically as institutions find themselves working remotely, Knox Seminary applied for, and won a grant offered by the Institute for Inter-Connected Education (IICE). This grant should help institutions create meaningful infrastructure throughout the mandatory quarantine and long beyond. The first grant (of three) offers institutions the ability to implement the Campus portal, mobile application, and community system at no charge, for one year, creating a “digital campus.”

As Knox Seminary seeks to ensure business continuity as well as effective communication throughout the entirety of the pandemic, the Campus solution, along with the quick implementation guidance from IICE, should provide exactly the kind of infrastructure the institution needs.

According to President Scott Mason, “The purpose of Knox Seminary is to equip students for ministry leadership where they live. To do this, we must find ways to meaningfully and intentionally bring together our students, alumni, staff, and faculty as a dynamic community of learning. Campus offers a coherent, streamlined, and user-friendly platform that unites all of our key resources in a dynamic interface that not only makes everyone’s experience better, but easier too.”

Chase Williams, CEO at Campus commented, “We felt it was important to do our part during this time. So, with help from the Institute for Inter-Connected Education, is it our pleasure to begin working with Knox Seminary in a fast-tracked, iterative fashion, ensuring their students will not have trouble connecting with the right person, system, or support, at exactly the right time regardless of where they may be working.”

As always, the addition to the Campus partner family, along with the ability to learn from yet another institution type, is an exciting time for Campus. Being able to do so throughout this challenging time is extra gratifying. As various colleges and universities around the world utilize the Enrollment, Current Student, and/or Alumni experiences to better connect people to systems, content, as well as other people, the influence of those partners is honing and sharpening the entire experience.
