About Your Panel
Deborah Lee is the Senior Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness and the Accreditation Liaison Officer at Concordia University Irvine. Her background is in criminology, sociology, and research methods. Her role at Concordia includes institutional research, assessment, regional accreditation, and specialized accreditation. On campus, she serves on the Academic Council, Educational Effectiveness Committee, Data Governance Committee, and Retention and Persistence Committee. She is an IPEDS Keyholder and enjoys using IPEDS to help departments across campus to develop data-informed initiatives. As an alumna of the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) Assessment Leadership Academy, Deborah has served on the WSCUC Academic Resource Conference Proposal Review Committee for multiple years. She was also elected to the Board of Directors for the California Association for Institutional Research Board (CAIR) for a second term. Rob Henderson joined University of the Pacific in December 2000, he currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer, and Vice President for Technology. In his role Rob partners with business units to correctly identify the proper roles and responsibilities for applications that enable the business to succeed. Presently, Rob is involved in several security initiatives to reduce risks and increase Pacific Technology Safety.
Rob leads the teams that enable classroom technology, Internet, network, Telecom, Email, Web servers, and Data Center Operations.
Recent projects Rob has launched include: Ellucian Advising System, Enablement of email in Office 365, migrations of critical services to cloud infrastructure including websites, Banner, Endpoint Detection and Response, and disaster recovery services.
Current projects are Pacific’s new campus portal, MultiFactor Authentication, OnBase upgrade, Sacramento campus expansion in support of PHCC, and phone system replacement.
Rob has held several positions in his 22 years with Pacific, such as Project Manager, Manager of Network Engineering Services, and Executive Director of Infrastructure Services, where he led the IT implementations of internet technologies, new email systems, a new phone system, Network refreshes, classroom technology implementation, and building construction. Rob collaborated on building Pacific’s Monagan Hall, PHSLC, Biology Building, DeRosa University Center, Biology Lab Science building, Hand Hall renovation, Dental building relocation, Sacramento Library renovations, and countless moves of departments. Rob has been involved with new data center builds on all 3 campuses.
Previous to Pacific he led the build of the CSU Stanislaus Stockton campus as the Instructional Coordinator. He graduated from CSU Stanislaus with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and has a Master’s in Business Administration.
In 2008 Rob was named by CIO Magazine as one of the Premier 100 IT leaders. (Class of 2008 Yearbook: The Honorees – Computerworld)
Rob holds an Enterprise Architect Certification from the Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellence, 2018. In 2005, Rob completed the EDUCAUSE Institute Management Program and holds a certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate.
Kendall Johnson is a problem solver with a strong emphasis in customer service. Currently serving as the Project & Technical Services Manager at PLNU, Kendall focuses his time on project management, overseeing the ITS support desk, and fostering collaborative partnerships with other departments to ensure the success of IT initiatives. With a background in endpoint support, server administration, and identity management, Kendall’s experience of supporting university staff and faculty brings a holistic approach to support and the customer experience.
Over the last thirteen years of supporting users and technology, Kendall has excelled at connecting people with the tools they need to get the job done. His multifaceted skill set enables Kendall to offer a comprehensive approach to supporting the university’s staff, faculty, and students.
