Managing student finances can be a balancing act, but with the help of the Balances via Ellucian Cloud Provider, you’ll be seeing anything but red! By tapping a preexisting connection to Ellucian Cloud (as established by the Ellucian Cloud API Connector), it allows users to view their current balances during conversations with our GenAI Chatbot. In the context of the Ellucian ecosystem, the Provider is student information system (SIS) agnostic; Banner and Colleague will function synonymously.
Providers do not have associated widgets, they simply retrieve user-specific information from external data sources (often Connectors) for use in Chatbot conversations.
