About our Presenter, Melanie Watson
Melanie is the Head of Alliances and Partnerships at Pathify.
She previously served as an Enrollment Manager at University of Denver’s (DU) University College for four years where she managed student recruitment and advising for graduate programs.
Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economics from Bates College, a Graduate Certificate in College Advising from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Master of Arts in Higher Education from University of Denver.
While studying at DU, Melanie’s primary research focused on the importance of student engagement, mentorship, and the critical need to build a sense of belonging for students. She found these areas all have a direct impact on increasing retention rates and success outcomes for all students of all identities.
Melanie is passionate about removing barriers of access to higher education.
