Columbus College of Art & Design Launches Unified Engagement Portal Powered by Pathify

Creative art and design institution streamlines student digital experience, strengthens community connections with Pathify

Prior to Pathify, CCAD relied on its website platform to share student communications. With the Pathify Engagement Hub as the foundation, the college now delivers a mobile-forward platform that reduces reliance on email, supports targeted push notifications and offers a flexible, intuitive interface tailored to the needs of students.

“CCAD students are artists, designers and innovators, and they expect their campus technology to match the intuitive and personalized digital experiences they see in the creative tools they use every day,” said Eileen Galvin, Senior Director of Library & Information Technology at CCAD. ”Pathify helps us simplify access, strengthen connections and empower our students to focus more on their creative work and less on searching for information or worrying about missed deadlines or opportunities.”

Pathify stood out during the college’s evaluation process for its ability to integrate with key campus systems, along with its personalization features. Beyond mobile accessibility and push notifications, the platform’s backend flexibility allows administrators across departments to independently manage and update content areas, ensuring information remains current and relevant. Additionally, the platform also allows for potential future expansion of a unified portal experience for CCAD faculty and staff.

Chase Williams, CEO and Co-Founder of Pathify, said, “We are excited to see CCAD join the growing number of art and design schools choosing Pathify to elevate their digital experience. Creative institutions have some of the most engaged, tech-savvy students and they deserve platforms that match their expectations. This launch embodies our vision of making campus technology intuitive, cohesive and user-centered while reimagining how the CCAD student community connects and engages digitally.”

CCAD joins a growing number of creative institutions reinventing their digital experiences through Pathify, including University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Otis College of Art & Design, The New School and CalArts.
